How is Part 3 different from Part 1?
Part 3 is a discussion of abstract ideas linked to your Part 2 topic, with longer, more analytical answers, rather than short personal questions.
How long is Part 3?
About four to five minutes. The examiner asks follow up questions and may challenge your views to see how you respond.
How accurate is the AI band?
Your recording is graded against the four official Speaking criteria, fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation, with notes on each. Treat it as a reliable practice estimate, not an official IELTS result.
Is Speaking practice free?
You can take a full mock test free, which includes all three speaking parts with the AI examiner and a band. Unlimited part by part speaking practice is on Pro. Reading and Listening practice are always free.
