1. IELTS trademark & non-affiliation

IELTS is a registered trademark co-owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English. DigiSurf Academy is an independent IELTS preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way associated with any of these organisations or with the official IELTS test.

The use of "IELTS" on this site is purely descriptive — to identify the test for which we provide preparation tools — and not as a claim of partnership.

2. AI scoring is practice-grade only

Every band score, criterion breakdown, model answer, transcript, pronunciation analysis (WPM, fillers, pauses, low-confidence words), and rubric mapping shown on DigiSurf Academy is produced by large language models and speech-to-text systems. It is:

• Not an official IELTS result.
• Not a substitute for sitting the official IELTS test administered by the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge Assessment English.
• Not guaranteed to match the band a certified IELTS examiner would award; AI scores may differ materially in either direction.

Use AI scores as a directional study indicator only. Do not rely on them for visa, immigration, university admission, scholarship, or employment decisions.

3. Content origin

All reading passages, listening scripts, writing prompts, speaking cue cards, model answers, rubric explanations, and band-7+ samples on DigiSurf Academy are original works written for the platform or generated by AI on the platform, calibrated against publicly available IELTS band descriptors. We do not reproduce, redistribute, or use Cambridge IELTS past papers, official Cambridge IELTS practice books, or British Council / IDP test material as training data or platform content.

Phrases like "Cambridge-pattern" describe the format we model — paragraph headings, summary completion, true / false / not given, etc. — not any endorsement.

4. Community content

Recordings and essay excerpts shown in the Community Top Performers feature are the work of individual DigiSurf users who opted in to publish. They are not vetted by us as model answers; bands shown next to community content are AI-assigned bands subject to §2 above.

5. Examiner avatars

The "AI examiners" shown on the Speaking module are AI-generated video personas trained on synthetic voice models (Microsoft Azure Speech and HeyGen). They are not real human examiners. Use of their faces / names does not imply that any real-world examiner endorses or is associated with DigiSurf.

6. External links

Links to external sites (Cambridge sample papers, British Council band descriptors, etc.) are provided for reference. We do not control external content and accept no responsibility for it.

7. Educational, not advisory

Information on DigiSurf Academy is educational. It is not legal, immigration, financial, or medical advice. For visa or immigration decisions consult the relevant high commission, embassy, or licensed migration agent.
